The artifacts - Miners Cabin

This painting project could not have been without the Museum's wonderful collection of artifacts. Today I opened the Miners Cabin, which requires some dusting and moving all of the artifacts out of storage and back to their home in the cabin. I used many of these items in my paintings, often thinking of their natural placement in the cabin as a means to create my own compositions.
